The runtime is free. These plans are for the engine, which runs your firmware against a plant, injects faults and replays runs bit for bit.
Community
Free
For individuals, classes, projects with no revenue, and companies with fewer than ten people and under a million dollars in revenue and funding.

Team
US$8,000 per seat per year
For commercial programs, priced per engineer.

You declare yourself eligible for Community, and its limits are on the feature limits page. Team and Enterprise are bought with an order. The Rigless License has the binding wording, and its eligibility rules are stricter than this summary.
Common questions.
What counts as a seat?
Each engineer who runs the engine is a seat. So is each unattended CI runner, unless your order says otherwise.
What if we outgrow Community?
Then you move to Team. That happens when the company reaches ten people or a million dollars in revenue and funding, or when you need replay, campaigns or more than one plant in a session.
Can we try it first?
Yes. Everyone starts on the Evaluation plan, which gives you ninety days with the engine or its published source inside your company. It doesn't allow production use or redistribution.
What does the runtime cost?
Nothing. It's free software under MIT or Apache-2.0, and these plans don't apply to it.
